The decision to become a Naturopathic Doctor followed a life spent trying to help other people. It is tremendously rewarding to see patients improve their health and go on to live happier and healthier lives. Knowing that I played a part in their journey.
The choice of being a Naturopathic Doctor happened the first day I read the holistic Principles of Naturopathic Medicine. Here were the keys leading to a lifetime of finding better answers for patients. Answers that would provide wellness solutions that were both effective and natural.
There is such wisdom in those principles. The one that you will see mentioned often, here on our online Naturopathic & Holistic Wellness Clinic, is treating the whole person. This is so clearly the right approach. You are the sum 
total of all your experiences imprinted on your mind, body, and spirit. Your individual blending of these holistic forces is what makes you so special and unique.
To treat you as a whole person requires discovering and understanding all of those elements that made you unique. Otherwise, we are just looking at your health as individual components in isolation. This will not provide the answers to build lasting wellness.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, my role is to help you bridge from the present, to the potential of the future, on your holistic journey to becoming a healthier person. I look forward to helping you.

Doctor Kim's Naturopathic Professional Associations and Educational Background
Dr. Lena Kim, ND, Edmonton Area Naturopath, is a registered and licensed Naturopathic Doctor. She is a member of both the Alberta Association of Naturopathic Practitioners and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
She received her designation as a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) through a four-year full-time program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario.
Earlier she completed her premedical requirements with an Honours Biology degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
